5 out of 5 stars Happy boy   August 13, 2010

These DVD's are enjoyed by a young
lad who knows all the characters, and can't wait for the next volume. Very good entertainment and excellent value for the money.

4 out of 5 stars Season 13 is back with a vengeance   August 8, 2010
The Shadow
Most follows of the the good Doctor know that the era of Baker/ Sladen/ Hinchcliffe/ Holmes was one of the best ever, especially the 13th season. Drawing on high Gothic with plenty of scares and fun. In other words, classic Dr Who. Well, I'm happy to say, that era is back. First off, Matt Smith. Ok, so he had some big shoes to fill, but has done an admiral job. Of course, the material he's got to work with has been top notch, but that's what you get with Steven Moffet in your Corner.
The 2-part TIME OF THE ANGELS/FLESH & STONE is a gem. I expect it to win the seasaon survey when the results come out. The Weeping Angels are some of the best (and scary) monsters the program has offered in in long career. As for THE VAMPIRES OF VENICE .... another fine outing with a nice twist on the whole bloodsuckers bit. As for Karen Gillan ... ok, she's no Lis Sladen, but she and Matt make a solid team which I expect to get even better with the next season.
So overall, solid stuff. Bring on Neil Gaiman!!

The story is oke; but I have a problem with Matt Smith.
The two docters before him were much better
I do not know if I will buy the next episode of Dr. Who.
